When you return from the airport and discover that your car has been damaged, it is important that you report this directly to a staff member at the car park, and ask for a written confirmation of the damage. Please be aware that if you do not report the damage directly on site, it can no longer be proven that the damage occurred on the premises of the parking provider and you will most likely not be reimbursed for the damages. Furthermore, we advise you to contact your insurance company for advice on handling your damage claim.
Many parking providers check the condition of your car when you arrive and before you leave. In case the provider does not give you a vehicle handover protocol, we advise you to always take detailed photos of your car before you leave, and check your car for damage immediately after your return.
As Parkos does not own or operate the parking locations, the decision for any reimbursement is not ours to make. Any damage reimbursements will be handled by the parking provider. You can find the contact information in your confirmation email.
