When you return from the airport and discover that your car has been damaged, it can be frustrating and disappointing. Many parking providers check the condition of your car when you arrive and before you leave. In case that the provider does not provide you with a vehicle handover protocol, we recommend you to always take detailed photos of your car before you leave and check your car for damages immediately after your return.
If you notice any damage to the vehicle, it is important that you report this directly to an employee at the parking spot and ask for a written confirmation of the damages. Please be aware that if you do not report the damage directly on site, it can no longer be proven that the damage occurred on the premises of the parking provider and you will most likely not be reimbursed for the damages. Further, we advise you to contact your insurance company to get advice on the handling of your damage claim.
As Parkos is not owning or operating the parking locations, the decision for any reimbursement is not ours to make. Any damage reimbursements are further handled by the parking provider. Nevertheless, we will be more than happy to assist you with the processing of your damage claim.
